UNETO-VNI
UNETO-VNI is the new organization for electrical enterprises and retailers. This organization was founded on 1-1-2002 and is the result of a merger between two older organizations. The Union of Electrical Enterprises (Uneto) and the Union of Retailers of the Netherlands (VNI). UNETO-VNI represents approx. 6000 large, medium and smaller companies with some 110.000 employees making it one of the biggest organizations in its field in the Netherlands. Total turnover of these 6000 companies is over 9 billion euros. The companies are active in fields of electro technical, mechanical, sanitary and retail services. The union represents the interests of its members as well as mutual interests. Individual members have access to assistance by the union in fields of economic, social, technical and legal issues. By joining forces smaller companies can benefit from the strength of the union. Examples of benefits to the participating members are: quality assurance, image building, labor market analysis and the general increase of knowledge within the union.
